Indonesia: The last few days in Bali
It’s my last day in Bali today and to be honest I can’t wait to leave. Indonesia has been amazing but there is something about Bali that I don’t really like. It’s been great to be here for the last two weeks, especially as I had a bad cold (I think as a side effect from my malaria tablets) and I could just completely relax and not do much. Now though, I am so ready to go – bring on Australia!
I went to make some more jewellery at the silver class with Wayan, I was luckily the only one there so I had the studio to myself. I made two necklaces that I am really delighted with. I also went to the Neka Art Museum, the Blanco Art Museum and I finally got round to going to the Monkey Forest after walking past many times.
I will miss the satay but I miss mashed potato so much and real ham, and real bread, and a proper cup of tea, oh and a pork pie would be lovely.
